Gwilym JohnRIMRONLt Cdr Gwilym John, RN. Passed away at home on 30th April 2020. Much loved father of Ben, father-in-law of Marys, grandfather of Mostyn and Delwyn, and friend to many. Private cremation to follow at Bodmin Crematorium. Any donations to RNLI, please. (Irish) John was well-known to colleagues and friends in Saltash, and within Mannamead and St Budeaux Tennis Clubs, and the Royal Navy (firstly at HMS Collingwood, then on board HMS Hydra, and finally at RNEC Manadon, Plymouth), for having a spirit of fun, together with a stubborn, rebellious and - most importantly - warm, warm heart. May he rest in peace, knowing he was loved.
