KenRITCHIEWe mourn the passing of Ken Ritchie, devoted husband to Anne for 59 years and friend to many.
A dedicated teacher in school and later in other educational settings, Ken inspired students with his passion for learning and commitment to education.
Ken died in Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care hospital after a very brief period of illness.
A pillar of the community, Ken's kindness and wisdom touched all who knew him.
Respecting Ken's wishes, there will be no formal funeral service.
Rest in peace, Ken. You will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
