Peacefully on 8th January 2026, aged 94 years, Derek.
Dearly beloved husband of the late Edith (nee Barnes), loving dad of Karen, Lynne, Dawn and Derek. Loving father in law of Alan, Rob, Terry, Liz and the late Bill. Much loved granda of Graham, Mark, Robin, Freya and Laura. Much loved great granda to Nicole, Lewis, James, Rowan, Eva and Sienna. Derek was much loved by all family and friends.
Requiem Mass at St. Patrick's R.C. Church, Felling, on Thursday 22nd January at 10:00am. Interment to follow at Heworth Burn Cemetery. Friends please meet at Church.
Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to Rosewood House Care Home Residents Fund. A donation may be made at the Service. Afterwards all welcome at Heworth Golf Club
