DavidROBERTSONDavid (Davie) Robertson, music teacher (clarinet and saxophone) previously of Kingsley Close, Stafford, passed away peacefully in the Macmillan Ward, Balfour Hospital, Kirkwall, Orkney on 23rd May 2025, aged 89 years.

Dearly beloved husband of Caroline, much-loved father to Lindsay and James, father-in-law to Bob and grandfather to Conor and Erin.

Davie is sadly missed by all of his extended family.

A Memorial Service will be held at the funeral home of John G Corse Funeral Directors on Monday 2nd June 2025 at 11.00am and will be followed by a friends and family gathering at the Ayre Hotel, Kirkwall KW15 1QX.

A Crematorium Service will be conducted in the East Chapel of the Aberdeen Crematorium, Skene Road, Hazelhead, Aberdeen, AB15 8PT on Thursday 5th June 2025 at 10.30am.

Family flowers only please, donations preferred in memory of Davie for Macmillan Cancer Support c/o John G Corse.

So sorry to hear about the passing of Mr Robertson. He was a lovely man and great music teacher. He will be fondly remembered.
