I'm so sad you're gone.
I will miss the beers and the meals, our chats about DIY and I will miss you, my old friend.

Derek, thank you for the memories and the kindness you showed me over the years.

You were the one who introduced me to the finer things in life, from holidays abroad to lovely meals out. You and Sue even took me on my very first holiday, something I’ll never forget. I’ll always remember the night you had a few drinks and got the giggles, we were all laughing so much, it still makes me smile to think of it.

Thank you for always looking out for me and for my two eldest children. Your care, your laughter, and your thoughtfulness meant more than you probably realised.

Rest peacefully, Derek, you will be missed xx
