Beloved partner to John, adored Mum, Nan and Mother-in-law. Loved by Johns children and grandchildren and cherished step-nan. A special and faithful friend to many.

Former Brains Landlady of the Clifton Pub that she ran with her late husband Ray.

Resting at James Summers Funeralcare, Penarth until the funeral service on Wednesday 4th March at 1.30pm, at All Saints Church, Penarth CF64 3EL followed by a private family cremation.

Family Flowers only. Donations may be made in memory of Carol to a charity of your own choice.

So sad to hear about the loss of Carol. I was new to the area when I went into the Clifton and wow, what a landlady!
She was so lovely, and certainly wouldn’t take any prisoners even with her small stature.

I remember her telling me all about her cruises and her love of Elvis. She was an absolute star. God bless Carol, thanks for the memories!

Carol was a dear friend and the former landlady of the Clifton Hotel, known for her warmth, generosity, and steady presence. She touched the lives of so many with her kindness and her quiet strength. Carol was deeply loved, and she will always be missed, but never forgotten. Xxx
