It was a pleasure knowing you Gramps. You’re going to be greatly missed especially Christmas and Easter where we won’t hear your funny jokes but to know you are back with Moira and your Mum and Dad fills me with comfort. Take care. Love Scott (Dobbin) xxx

To my wonderful Gramps
A whole week has passed since you left us and I miss you so very much. I’m still trying to process the fact that you are no longer here with us. In my darkest moments when my thoughts turn to sadness that you are gone I find comfort knowing that you are no longer in pain and are back with Nanny. I feel so lucky to have so many wonderful memories with you that I will cherish forever. My heart breaks knowing I won’t see you again or get one last cuddle with you but know we will see each other again. Until then keep watching over me and guide me through life. I will look for signs of you in all that I do as I know you will be with me. Give Nanny a big kiss and cuddle for me. Love you Gramps xxxxxxxx

Hey dad! Gone but never forgotten.
Stubborn to the end, but you did make everyone laugh with your stories and jokes. You made friends with everyone you met from the bowling club to the euchre card nights.
