DorisROBINSONMrs Doris Robinson, of Danesmoor Care Home, Haslingden, died at Royal Blackburn Hospital on Monday, May 9, aged 82. Doris was a weaver and worked at Doric Springs, Water, and was a care assistant at Ashlands, Turnpike, and Cherry Tree Lodge, Rawtenstall, from where she retired. She loved reading and gardening. Wife of the late ‘Bob’ Robert Robinson, she leaves children Linda Thompson, Karen Wilson, and Stephen Robinson. The funeral will be held on Monday, May 23, at 3.15pm at Fred Hamer Rawtenstall, then Burnley Crematorium, led by Kathy Unsworth. Family flowers only; donations if desired to Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary can be made online at www. fredhamer.co.uk (tributes and donations). Funeral director: Dawn Winfield for Fred Hamer Funeral Services, Rawtenstall.
