Maria (May)ROGAN(née Shaw) (Wardley)
Unexpectedly but peacefully at the R.V.I. Hospital on 13th June 2024 aged 89 years, with her loving family by her side. Beloved daughter of the late George and Catherine, dearly loved wife of the late Den, adored mam of Maria and Anne, a very proud grandma of Sarah, Amy, Sophie, James and great-grandma of Alice. Dearest sister of the late George, Connie, Dorothy, Cathy, Fred, Sadie, Peggy, Mary, Frances, Billy and Ray. Dearest sister-in-law of Catherine and Martin. Much loved by nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours. May will be forever loved and endlessly missed.
Would family and friends please meet for Requiem Mass and Funeral Service at St. Augstine's R.C. Church, Leam Lane on Thursday 4th July 2024 at 10:00am followed by a Committal Service at Saltwell Crematorium at 11:15am.
Family flowers only, donations in lieu, if so desired to Tynesight Fund, R.V.I. Hospital. All welcome afterwards to Heworth Golf Club for refreshments.
