My goodness.

Graham Rossborrough.

My mate at Howes Lane school Coventry for many years. Knew him since 5 years old.

We were the only two kids to pass the eleven plus to get into the grammar school King Henry VIII that year.

And we were in the same football team at primary school. Still got the photo.

He couldn't keep still. Always fidgeting.
And had that glorious cheeky smile.

He let me down badly once, saying his parents would pick me up to go swimming one Saturday morning. I waited by the front window in the lounge for hours, sadly, a no show. Must have been a seminal moment in my life.

And then I met him in the Open Arms, with Clive Baldron a few years later.

That could have been the night when his much famous older brother, Peter, literally stood on a table in the middle of the pub to lead the drinkers in a sing-a-long: Christmas Eve?

Lovely memories of two lives occasionally touching.
