Malcolm taught me for a few years when Welsh cob Jay Jay came to Ashley’s in 2021. He had a great sense of humour, some lovely sayings, and put me at my ease. When I got my confidence, he called out “she’s taken the hand-brake off!”. He cared about the horse first, which I appreciated. He was a lovely man.
