AndrewRUSHTONPeacefully in Hospital after a short illness Loving dad of Michael, Alison, Catherine and Elizabeth, dear father in law, much loved grandad of 13, dear friend to Ali and devoted master of Border Terrier Ruby Funeral service and Committal will take place at West Lancashire Crematorium on Friday 24th March at 10:00am. I've known Andy for over 45 years, he was a lovely man who will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. He was my Best Man at my wedding, his guitar playing was legendary. The stories of his early days on the farm and in the Police Force were so funny. Farewell my good friend.

I knew Andrew from the Hutton college days, when we were both 16. I have kept in touch over the years and he kept us amused on many an occasion. I’m sorry I cannot attend the funeral as I have care issues of my own. All the best to the family of a true character !
