Rachel MaryRUSSELLPeacefully, on 27th February,
with her three daughters by her side and whilst
in the care of Ward C5, Diana, Princess of Wales
Hospital, Grimsby, Rachel, aged 86 years.
Devoted wife for 59 years to the late Alistair.
Much loved Mum to Clare, Helen and Lucy and
dear Mother-in-Law to David, Robert and Richard.
Loving Nanny to Elicia, Luke, Harriet and Beatrice
and Great Nanny to Mabel. Also a dear sister to
Diana and the late Janet. Rachel was a cherished
friend to many and she will be greatly missed.
A funeral service for Rachel will be held
at Grimsby Crematorium on
Monday 23rd March, 2026 at 12 noon.
Family flowers only please but, if desired,
a donation in lieu may be sent to
The Health Tree Foundation at Diana, Princess
of Wales Hospital to purchase a much needed
sleeper chair for family members.
