HartleyRUTHERFORDRUTHERFORD (New Hartley). Living in Newcastle Under Lyme, Staffordshire for over 50 years. It is with great sadness we announce the death of Ernie on 7th March, aged 84 years, peacefully with family presence. Ernie is the beloved husband of Olive, adored dad of Paul, Linda, Kay and Hazel and the late Ian. Very much loved grandad to Kelly, Katie, Daniel, Sharon, Lynden, Liam, Paige and Emma and great grandad to Adam and Katie. Loving brother to Margaret and the late Jack, Tommy, Gladys and Sid, much respected father-in-law, brother-in-law and uncle, also a lifelong and special friend to Frankie Buck. Thanks also to Mary Wilson for all her support which is much appreciated. Please raise a glass to a Geordie passing, with thanks Ernie's family.
