John (Anthony John)SANKEY1924 - 2023 Army service in WW2 with the Royal Northumberland Fusiliers followed by a career as a Lincolnshire Police Officer for 33 years. It is with deep regret that Jonathan and Margaret Sankey announce the passing of Jonathan's dearly loved and much respected father on 6th February 2023. Treasured husband of the late Jean. He was an amazing character, very independent and a kind and true friend who will be sadly missed. Funeral service at St Botolph's Church (Boston Stump) on Thursday 16th March at 11:30am - All welcome. Flowers welcome or donations if desired to R.N.L.I Mablethorpe, the Salvation Army or Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance (L.N.A.A.C.T) These may be left after the service or sent to Lincolnshire Co-op Funeral Service, 2 Market Place, Horncastle LN9 5HD.
