I met Raffaele, Michaela and Genni in Clowns when I was a new bride brought from America to live in Cambridge. With no family in town, myself and my husband spent many pleasant Sundays in Clowns reading the paper, having lunch and always, Raffaele himself would make my cappuccino and chat five or ten minutes with me. I appreciated his warmth, friendship and how he was happy to teach me about Italy and its food and drink. I have remembered Raffaele and his daughters so fondly that I thought to look up Clowns to find out where everyone was today. I am very sad to learn of Raffaele’s passing and will always carry the memory his loving kindness and hospitality in my heart. May his memory bring blessing to the loved ones he leaves behind. ♥️🙏♥️
