IanSCOTNEYPassed away peacefully on 6th March 2026, aged 83 years, with family by his side.

Devoted husband of the late Rita, cherished father of David, Joanna and Susan and in-laws Amanda and Mark, treasured grandad of Beth, Lauryn, Jack, Hannah, Cara, Alexander and Owen, loved great-grandad to Holly, Leo and Erin.

Funeral service and burial to take place at 10.00am on Friday 10th April at Eastern Chapel and Cemetery.

All welcome afterwards to the Lambwath Public House, Sutton Road, Hull.

No flowers by request, donations in lieu to Yorkshire Wolds Railway Charity.

Ian was such a lovely man, always friendly, always enjoying a chat with friends and neighbours, he will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of meeting him. 8 years been your neighbour and it’s been an absolute pleasure knowing such a wonderful couple Ian and Rita, we will miss our little chats in the front way and hearing you heartwarming stories, especially how you met Rita and the love you guys shared, rest in peace now, reunited with your beautiful Rita.
