SERRELLWalter Peacefully on October 4th 2017 at The Douglas Macmillan Hospice, Blurton after an illness fought with great dignity. Walter aged 94 years of Leek, a very dear father, father-in-law, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and friend to many. Funeral Thursday October 26th Service at St Edwards Church, Leek at 2.00pm, prior to cremation at Macclesfield Crematorium. Will friends wishing to attend kindly meet at the church. No black clothes please. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to The Douglas Macmillan Hospice, Blurton or The Churnet Valley Railway. Inquiries to S. Dad you sent 7 5 5 a fortnight ago today to close your time amongst us but I know 5 5 5 will now have been sent when you opened the great signal box in the sky. Your pain and suffering are now over and let’s hope the dance floor in the sky has already been blessed with you enjoying a dance with one of your many partners from your dancing days here on Earth.
