JamesSEWELLDied in hospital after a short illness on 10th February 2026, aged 78 years old.
Precious husband to Rosemary. Much loved dad to David and the late Claire. Loving father in law to Susan, adored Grandda to Aimee and James, legend of a great Grandda to Charlotte Ruby and Theo David, also a dear neighbour, political advisor, comrade and of course mate to plenty.
Jimmy was a dedicated union rep, local councillor for over 25 years within Hebburn, where he touched countless lives.
A celebration of Jimmy's life will take place at South Shields Crematorium on Tuesday 10th March at 10:30am, followed by a gathering at The Iona.
