Margaret ChristinaSHANKSOn 23rd January 2026, peacefully at home, Margaret Christina Shanks, Torrs Place, Castle Douglas and formerly of Threave Gardens.
Dearly loved wife of George, adored mum of Andrew and Kenneth, and deeply loved mother in law of Jane. A devoted, treasured gran of Callum, Kayleigh and Leanne and proud great gran of Mya and Sophia.
Funeral service will take place on Thursday 12th February at 1.00pm in Kelton Parish Church followed by refreshments in the church hall, thereafter there will be a private cremation.
All friends are respectfully invited to attend. Flowers welcome. If so desired, donations to Castle Douglas Medical Group and the Stewartry District Nurses may be given at the service.
