Karen SynnöveSHAVEPeacefully, with family by her side, at Scunthorpe General Hospital, on 6th December 2025, aged 65 years.

Karen, a much loved wife of Trevor, dearly loved mum of Samantha, loving sister of Sheila, Ellen and the late Johnny, a dear sister in law, auntie and great auntie, will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Karen's family wish to express their sincere and heartfelt thanks to the staff on ICU at Scunthorpe General Hospital for the dedicated care and attention given to Karen and her family over recent weeks.

A service to celebrate Karen's life will be held at Woodlands Crematorium, Scunthorpe on
Tuesday 30th December at 11.20am.

Karen was my step mother, I went to stay with her and dad a few times and spent days out with them at the races when they were on the car parking team. Although I didnt get to see Karen that often in person in later years, we kept in touch over the phone and had many a long conversation about all sorts. Karen was a very clever lady, funny without knowing it most if the time, and also had a knack for giving good advice. I will miss her and our chats very much.
