ArthurSHAWPassed away on 1st December 2025. Peacefully at Stepping Hill Hospital aged 89.

Beloved Husband of Anne, Dad to Helen, Andrew and Jenny, Grandfather to Sarah, Matt, Alana, Abigail, Naomi, Bryony, Megan, Ben, Hannah, William and Great Grandfather to Lilly.

He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.

Family flowers only and donations to The Christie or the Gurkhas Welfare Trust.

Service to take place at St Thomas's Mellor at 12.30pm on Tuesday 16th December.

Dads Funeral took place in Mellor on 16th of December it was attended by so many people and the day itself was a beautiful Sunny winters day. Afterwards at the wake so many people told the positive stories that had shaped dads life and I know his memory will live on and be cherished by all. There was a pint on the bar at the oak in his old dimpled pot which I'm sure he will be enjoying with his friends, brother, sister and his own mum and dad up there in peace. Love you dad now and always.
