JohnSHEARDJohn Sheard of Netherton passed away peacefully at home on 3rd September 2026, aged 88 years. A much-loved husband to the late Nancy, devoted father to Julie and the late Karen, a much respected father in law to James, and a cherished grandfather to Daniel, Joshua, Ben and Jordan. John was also a very proud great-grandfather and a loving partner to Jean. He will be sadly missed by his family, and all who knew and loved him. John was a dear friend to many and will be remembered with great affection.
A funeral service will be held on Monday 28th September at Huddersfield Crematorium at 12.30pm. All who knew John are warmly welcome to attend.
Family flowers only, please. Donations in memory of John may be made to The Kirkwood. A donation box will be available on the day.
