MargaretSHEMWELLMrs Margaret Shemwell, of Newchurch Road, Rawtenstall, died at home on Monday, April 4, aged 82. Margaret worked at P&S Filtration, Haslingden, as a ‘dry cutter’, alongside her daughter Janice. She loved dog walks with Brandy and Whiskey, then later Sandy, all labradors. Margaret also loved listening to music, lots of classical and opera, whilst playing card games on the computer. She leaves husband Roy, daughter Janice, son Lee, and grandchildren Matthew, Sara, and Hannah. The funeral will be held on Tuesday, April 19, at 2.20pm at Accrington Crematorium, led by Neil Overton. Donations if desired to the Alzheimer’s Society can be made at www.fredhamer.co.uk (tributes and donations). Funeral director: Dawn Winfield for Fred Hamer Funeral Services, Rawtenstall.
