EileenSHEPPARDIt is with heavy hearts that we announce, Eileen Sheppard (née Lynch), born March 7th, 1948, died April 16th, 2023. Predeceased by her parents Johnny (Batt) and Johanna Lynch, her brother John and sister Mary Anne, and by her daughter Claire. Eileen was the beloved wife of Dave Sheppard and a devoted and loving mother to their children Brendan, Marie, Liam and Bridget. Eileen will be sadly missed by her much loved grandchildren, James, Evie, Ellie, Ayla, Aubrey and Ethan. Dearly and fondly remembered by her sister Bridie, her Aunty Peg, sons in law Jason and Will, daughters in law Carina and Lisa, brothers in law, sisters in law and all her extended family, friends, and neighbours. Eileen lived a full and happy life, dedicated to her family, friends and faith. Her kindness, gentle nature and sense of humour will be missed by all who knew her. A funeral service will be held at The Sacred Heart Church, Carlton, Nottingham on May 15th at 12:45. This will be followed by a short service at Gedling crematorium at 2pm. May she rest in peace.
