DavidSHEPPARDIt is with heavy hearts that we announce, David Sheppard (Dave), born 11 Dec, 1939, died Nov 23rd, 2023. Predeceased by his parents Henry and Sarah, his wife Eileen and their daughter Claire.
Dave was the beloved husband of Eileen Sheppard and a devoted and loving father to their children Brendan, Marie, Liam and Bridget. Dave will be sadly missed by his much-loved grandchildren, James, Evie, Ellie, Ayla, Aubrey and Ethan. Dearly and fondly remembered by his brothers Roy and John, his sons in law Jason and Will, daughters in law Carina and Lisa, sisters in law and all his extended family, friends, and neighbours.
Dave lived a full, happy, contented life, dedicated to his family, friends and faith. His positivity, gentle nature and sense of humour will be missed by all who knew him.

A funeral service will be held at the Sacred Heart Church, Carlton, Nottingham on December 15th at 14:30. This will be followed by a short service at Gedling Crematorium at 4pm. The family would like to request that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the charity GAIN, which is dedicated to helping people affected by Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS) which may be sent c/o
