EllenSHIELDSBeloved wife of the late George Shields, loving mother of Mark, Maryann, Helen and Eileen, mother-in-law of Dee, David and Richard and devoted grandmother of Luke, Connor, Ellen, Kian, Jerry, Alice, Lillie, Perry, Finn, Thomas, Clodagh and Georgia slipped away peacefully on 6th May 2023 after a short illness, aged 83 years. Don't worry about where I am Start living life for you God took me by my hands As my George was waiting too His loving arms were held out wide I'm back where I belong, right by his side. You will laugh, you will cry But please remember I've had an amazing ride So keep those laughs and dry those tears In your hearts I will always be near. To be received into Sacred Heart Church, Mere Road on Sunday 4th June at 6.00pm. Requiem Mass on Monday 5th June at 1.00pm followed by cremation at Gilroes Crematorium. Please wear bright colours. Family flowers only but please raise a toast to Nellie.

A sad day. My Auntie Nellie was a fabulous personality in our lives. From when we were babies to married adults. She was always a great presence in our lives. Rest in peace and god speed. Our loving condolences to our cousins Mark Maryann Helen and Eileen. And all the spouses and grandkids. And extended families. "You'll never walk alone"
