I have known Wendy and Hamid since being a teen as the parents of my best mate Sam.

Wendy was always such a warm and funny presence in the house, always asking if we’d stay for tea and Hamid always offering a lift. Often the small things that make the great people.

I had no idea she’d written any poems and was deeply moved by Sam’s reading. She described remembrance so beautifully that all we needed to do was listen to her own words.

Not only was Wendy smart, caring and funny but also humble about all these qualities. She’s left a huge impression on everyone who knew her and it goes without saying that we’ll always be thinking of her - not least when conducting business on eBay!

Lots of love, James
