PhilipSIDDLEMr Philip Siddle, born June 25, 1941, sadly passed away at Pendleside Hospice on Saturday, April 30, at the age of 80. Philip, the husband of the late Mavis, was the former Head Greenkeeper of Rossendale Golf Club, and latterly a keen member and Director of Haslingden Bowling Club. He will be sadly missed by all his family, which includes daughter Angela, son-in-law Ian, son Andrew, daughter-in-law Melanie, his seven grandchildren Ashley, Oliver, Emily, Rebecca, Toby, Ryan and Kyle. Philip also had eight great grandchildren Matilda, Erin, Hugo, Brandon, Elsie, Harper, Ida and Ettie. Philip will also be sadly missed by his companion of his later years Winifred ‘Win’ Eastwood, with whom he had recently moved to Lytham St Annes. Philip’s funeral will take place on Monday, May 16 at 1pm from Johnson, Durning and Woods, Haslingden, with a Celebration of Life at Accrington Crematorium at 1.40pm. Everyone is then invited to a celebration of Phil’s life at Haslingden Bowling Club from 2.30pm. His family would like to thank everyone for their kind words and cards at this difficult time.
