DonaldSIMCOCKIt is with great sadness that the family of Mr Donald Simcock announce his passing after a long illness, on Tuesday, April 19, at the age of 90. Donald passed away peacefully at Hill View Care Home in Rawtenstall, and will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 69 years, Mary, his children David, Paul, Peter, Andrew, Ian and Donna, along with many grandchildren. Donald was a retired caretaker at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints in Rawtenstall. He loved going for country walks, DIY, and writing poetry. The funeral service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints in Rawtenstall on Thursday, May 5 at 11am, and he will be laid to rest in Bacup Cemetery.
