AnneSIMPSONMRS Anne Simpson née Sagar, of Blackburn Road, Haslingden, died aged 79 on Thursday, August 1 at the East Lancashire Hospice. She was loving wife of the late Bernard; mum to Tracey and Graeme, and nan to Laura, Amy and Orla. Thanks to her brother Larry and Sheila, and also to Allan and Diane. Anne loved holidays and time with her children and granddaughters as well as days out shopping. The family would like to thank staff at East Lancashire Hospice and Rossendale Hospice for the care given to Anne. Her funeral will take place at 2.20pm on Tuesday, August 13, at Accrington Crematorium, with a service led by Kirsty Goodinson. Family flowers only, with donations in memory of Anne, if desired, for Rossendale Hospice c/o funeral director Johnson, Durning and Woods Funeral Service, 8 Pleasant Street, Haslingden.
