George HowdenSIMPSONJean, Kirsteen, and George would like to express their sincere thanks to all the family, especially George's sister, Margaret (Rankin), who together with their many friends gave such help and support particularly over these last few weeks. The sympathy cards, beautiful flowers received, and donations made to the Hillside Animal Sanctuary have been overwhelming. Special thanks to West Dunbartonshire Health & Social Care Partnership team headed by Lynne McKnight, Richard Herd and Adam whose home carers, in particular, Roseann, Annmarie, Alanna, Karen and Lynne took superb care of George. Many thanks also to Dr Maxwell, Elaine and district nurses at Levenside Practice, as well as to the staff of Greenhead Road Pharmacy. Doctors, nursing staff of the A&E Department, Wards 20 and 24 of the RAH, Paisley, and the ambulance teams involved in transporting George must also be thanked. Celebrant, Sheena Johnston, conducted the funeral service at Cardross Crematorium in a very sensitive and professional way for which we are truly grateful. Thanks also to all those who were able to attend and to those unable to attend whose thoughts were with us that day. Heartfelt thanks to Emma and staff of John Kane Funeral Directors for all the sympathetic help and guidance given at this sad time. Finally, grateful appreciation to Agnes Mary, James and staff of the Abbotsford for their excellent catering.
