ErnestSIMPSON(Wallsend) We are heartbroken to announce the sudden death of Mr Ernest Simpson, affectionately known to all as Edge, at his home in Wallsend on September 28th 2025 at the age of 85.
A truly devoted husband, Edge is now reunited with his beloved late wife, Ann. He will be profoundly missed by all of his family, friends, and everyone whose lives he touched.
Though our grief is immense, we hold tight to the beautiful comfort that he is finally back with his precious Ann.
A service to celebrate Edge's wonderful life will be held on Monday October 13th 2025 at 11am, where we will meet at Holy Cross Cemetery.
In a fitting tribute to the man we knew and loved, the theme will be Country & Western.
