MurielSLATER(Winlaton / Crawcrook) (formerly of Scotswood) Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on July 17th at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital Gateshead aged 89 years. Former wife to Matty Slater, dearly loved mother to Hazel, Muriel, Barbara and Matthew and mother in law to Raymond, Terry, Mike and Maria. Treasured nana to all of her grandchildren. Also, a dear sister, aunt and friend to many. Funeral service to take place at St. Mary and Thomas Aquinas Church Stella, Blaydon on Wednesday 4th August at 1 o'clock followed by cremation at West Road Crematorium at 2.15. We little knew that morning, that God was going to call your name, in life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same, it broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone, for part of us went with you, the day God called you home.
