Passed away peacefully in St. Mark's Court Care Home on 17th February 2026 aged 95 years.

Jean, beloved Wife of the late James, adored Mam of Alan and Gavin, dearly loved Mother-in-law of Sandra and Pauline, devoted Grandma of Liam & Katie, Daniel & Steph, Glen & Lindsay and Katrina & Ryan, Great-Grandma of Grace, Daniel, Sienna, Scarlett, Evan, Niall, Ethan, Poppy, Lucy and Emma, cherished Sister of Alan and Sister-in-law of Dot and a dear friend to many.

Would family and friends please meet for service at Saltwell Crematorium on Monday 2nd March 2026 at 10:30am.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu of flowers can be made to Dementia UK via a collection as you leave the Crematorium.

Dear Mam,we can't thank you enough for the kindness you showed us, the guidance you gave us and the lasting memories of a long life of thoughtfulness and care. We will miss you beyond measure and know this....there will not be another like Jean Small ,the end of an era. God bless. Xx
