WendySMARIDGEWendy passed away at home in Carbis Bay on Friday 28th July 2017, having recently celebrated her 90th birthday. She was a proud Cornishwoman, a much loved daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother, as well as a valued colleague and friend. The Funeral Service will be on Tuesday 22nd August at Longstone Cemetery Chapel in Carbis Bay at 3pm. Family flowers only. I enjoyed the privilege of living next door in Carbis Bay to this wonderful lady. Many an evening we spent sharing stories as we enjoyed red wine and cheese together, chatting as the sun set over the Bay. We also visited NT properties and gardens together, and talked a lot about our mutual passion, horticulture. I have tears in my eyes as I write this, remembering so very fondly the kind, witty and intelligent woman who taught me so much. Your forever friend, Sharon x
