Ronald DavidSMITHRON Peacefully in hospital on 25th July 2018 aged 92 years. Dearly loved husband of Joyce Treasured dad of Elizabeth, David, Jayne and Philip Loving grandad and great-grandad. Ron formerly carried out cycling proficiency with the children from Gawsworth School, was Church Treasurer of Gawsworth Church, Accountant for Gawsworth Scouts and the WI, never missed his beloved Bridge nights twice a week at the Village Hall and was an ardent follower of Chelsea Football Club. Funeral Tuesday 14th August with service in St James Church, Gawsworth at 1.00pm followed by the committal at Macclesfield Crematorium.
