SMITH(Nee Mott) Linda Jean (Lyn) The family of Lyn would like to thank everyone for their kind wishes and support after our sad loss. Lyn was a devoted sister to Pat & Hazel, a loving Mum to Richard, Jennie & Gareth, Granny to Amber and much loved wife of Ray. A special thanks goes to St Helena Hospice Staff who were able to arrange hospital at home for Lyn, which meant that Lyn was able to be at home with her family at Christmas, thanks to the Carers and specialist nurses which made it all possible. Thanks also to the cancer care team at Colchester General Hospital who supported Lyn during the past 2 years. Formerly of Writtle, Lyn passed away peacefully at home in Clacton on 17th January 2015, aged 63. Forever missed by all who know and loved her.
