Catherine AnnSMITHOf Harwood Road, Rishton, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, September 11, aged 89 years. Beloved wife of the late Jack and much loved mum, grandma and great-grandmother. Catherine (Kath) will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. Special thanks to Dr Motupali and his team, East Lancashire Hospice, District Nurses, Prudent Care Services and Falcon Care who made it possible for mum to stay comfortable at home as she wanted, also Fr Stephen for his blessing.
The funeral service will take place on
Monday, October 2 at 11am at St Wulstans Church, Great Harwood, followed by a committal at Accrington Crematorium at 1pm.
Family flowers only please, but if so desired donations in memory of Kath to East Lancashire Hospice.
