HenrySMITHPassed away peacefully at Florence Nightingale Hospital, Ward 2 on Monday 15th January 2024, aged 92 years.
Much loved Husband to Ann, Dad to Julie, Martin and Christine and dearly loved Brother, Grandad and Great Grandad.
Affectionately known as Harry within his family and by former colleagues at Rolls-Royce where he worked for over 30 years.
Henry will be sadly missed by all who knew him throughout his life, including countless young people he dedicated his life to, through his work as Boys' Brigade Captain for 40 years.
A service will be held at Ashbourne Road Church on Tuesday 6th February at 12.00 noon, followed by a committal at Markeaton Crematorium at 1.30pm.
The family invite everyone to join them after the service to continue the celebration of Henry's life at The Great Northern, Station Road, Mickleover, from 1.30pm.
Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu for Alzheimer's Society, Ashbourne Road Church and the 3rd Derby Boys' Brigade Company.
