Ashley LouiseSMITHIt is with great sadness that I must announce the passing of Ashley Louise Smith.
Ashley passed away peacefully on 24th August 2025 under the care of St Richard’s Hospice, following a long battle with cancer, which she fought with courage, strength and bravery right until the end.
Ash leaves behind a legacy of living in the moment, always finding light no matter how impossibly dark the day was and prioritising making memories with loved ones and friends over anything else.
Ash leaves behind a loving family and many friends who will miss her greatly.
The funeral service will take place at Christ Church Lower Broadheath Worcester at 11am Friday 12th September.
This will be followed by a gathering at The Crown Inn, Hallow Worcester, WR2 6LB to celebrate Ash’s life.
Ashley’s wish was that anybody who wishes to buy flowers would please consider making a donation, instead, using the QR code below or by leaving one in the donation box at the church. All donations made will be shared equally between St Richard’s Hospice and Christ Church Lower Broadheath.
Ashley requested smart dress code but plenty of bright colours.
