JeanSMITH('nee Wilshaw') With heavy hearts, the family announce, Jean of Porthill passed away peacefully on Monday 20th October 2025 at the RSUH.
Devoted wife to John and the beloved wife of the late Colin, much loved mum to Gail, John, Gary and the late Colin, mother-in-law to Kevin, Angela and Kim, step-mum to Adrian, Angela and the late Ian, sister to Betty and sister-in-law to the late Graham, much loved nanar to Mark, Shaun, Marie, Danni, Joanne, Casey and Jessica, Grand nanar to Connor, Leah, Ryan, Jamie, Chloe, Ella, Lexi, Penny, Zak, Willow, River, Oliver and Adalyn.
Jean will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all her family and friends.
The celebration of Jeans Life and cremation will take place at Carmountside Crematorium on Wednesday 19th November at 10.00am. Will relatives and friends who wish to attend kindly meet at the Crematorium.
Family flowers only please. Donations can be given in memory of Jean to Parkinson's UK.
A collection box will be provided at the Crematorium as we leave the Chapel at the end of the service should anyone wish to make a donation.
