John's Service will be held
Wednesday 18th March 2026
Markeaton Crematorium, main chapel at 2:30 pm.

Donations in John's memory will be forwarded to Prostate Cancer

John was an amazing man, his kindness will be missed, he always thought of others. He has been a very good friend to me over the past 10 years, and was a shoulder to cry on when I needed it, offering his wisdom and life experience. I will miss you John but am so glad you are no longer in pain. Couldn't ask for a better friend to share coffee with. Rest in peace, reunited with Teddy, sleep tight old friend ❤️

So sorry to hear this sad news thinking of you all ,we have some happy memories from when Edward and Charlotte where in the dance shows and sat many hours through the rehearsals sending you all our love and condolences the crabtree family

John played a big part in my daughter's primary school years at Smalley. He was always a kind and generous soul with a smile for anyone. He'll be sadly missed. 🤍
