Elsie MaySMITHURSTDied June 5th, 2010 aged 97. Joan, Tracy and Philip would like to thank all family and friends who attended the funeral of their mum/grandma on June 29th. I think everyone who attended St Lukes Church and the Crematorium would agree that the service conducted by Father Graham, and the singing by Emma made the day special for a very special lady. Between us we managed to raise £465 to be shared between Cancer Research and the Macmillan Unit. Thanks again to you all, she would have been very grateful and proud of us. Thanks also to the Co-operative Funeral Service, Normanton Road who made a difficult time easier to cope with and the Spa Inn for making us very welcome afterwards.
