I was sad to learn of Gio’s passing we met in Martin street Morriston when we were children I was 4 and he was three we were both young Italian boys and little did we know that we would grow up up and become welsh Italians we played together out on the streets and made our own fun looking back times were hard but also happy
Yes we grew up together also with Jackie soccio and Michael and Linda soccio I will miss Gio ever so much and although we never went out together since we grew up together up we always looked back on our memories when we bumped into each other I will miss him ever so much Ali his mum auntie ninety and his dad Michaele

I was very fortunate to spend time with Mr Soccio during my nursing training in Morriston hospital two years ago, he reminded me of my grandfather who passed away many years ago, i enjoyed listening to his many stories of Italy as a young boy and his love of his garden. He will be sadly missed.
