Stephen JohnSOMERVILLE(Fenham) The family of Stephen are deeply saddened to announce his sudden passing on Sunday 16th November 2025 aged 64 years.

Stephen, a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather passed away suddenly at his mams house.

Stephen was known not only for his kindness and warmth but also his brilliant humour and sharp wit. He had an exceptional ability to make people laugh and to brighten any room and bring people together. To his family he was a source of unwavering love and support, to his friends, loyal generous and unforgettable.

A funeral service will be held on Friday 12th December. Family and friends are invited to gather for a meeting at 4 Royal Crescent around 11.10am to follow cars to the West Road Cemetery at 11.45am, afterwards a celebration of his life will be held at St James Park, level 3, Sir Bobby Robson Suite from 2-6pm. Family and friends are welcome. Stephen will be remembered with love and laughter and deep gratitude by all those fortunate to have met him. His presence will be missed but his spirit will live on in the many lives he touched. Floral tributes welcome.
