Allan JosephSPAIN29th December 1965 - 9th February 2025

With steadfast hearts, we celebrate the life of Allan Joseph Spain, who departed this world on February 9, 2025, at the age of 59.

A remarkable husband, Grandfather, Father, Son, Brother and friend. Allan's legacy will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Allan was a dedicated family man, cherished and survived by his loving wife Xena, who stood by his side through thick and thin. Their bond was a testament to true partnership, built on love, respect, and shared adventures. Together, they were blessed with a beautifully extended and colourfully blended family, including Daniel with Gemma, Chris with Sami, Gabi with Dave and the beloved tangle of all their children: Freddie, Luke, Sophia, Chris, Rinoa, William and Sebs. To them, Allan always aimed to be, not just a father or grandfather; but a mentor instilling in them the importance of compassion, hard work, and community.

Treasured Son of Mum Lorraine, Step dad Mike and Dad Allan, dear Brother to Phil; Allan's much loved Nan and Grandad, have preceded him in death. Lorraine and Mike's love and teachings instilled in Allan the core of resilience and strong ethics he carried through his life, while some of his happiest memories were of fishing with his Dad and watching the footie with his brother Phil.

A funeral service to honour Allan's life will be held on March 22, 2025, 11:30am at GreenAcres Rainford, WA11 7HX.

We also invite all who knew and loved Allan to join the family for a Music and Memories life celebration to follow, at The Village Hotel, Whiston L35 1RZ.

In lieu of flowers or any other memorial and in keeping with Allan's long years of community fundraising and volunteering, please consider a donation towards The Christie Charity's Research. Having battled Intrahepatic Cholangiocarcinoma and Light Chain Myeloma, Allan was determined to support those still fighting overwhelming odds. www.justgiving.com/page/allanspain
