It’s been 9 years since you have been gone. 9 years since I’ve been in your shop. 9 years since I’ve been down that road in tocky. 9 years since you last have me a fist bump and 9 years of regret that I didn’t give you a hug and told you how much I loved and appreciated you. I’m moving back up to Liverpool and starting uni and Ik you will be with me every step as u breathe the togetherness of Liverpool. I hope you’re at peace and with your wife and I hope I’m doing you proud Ken. Miss you always and forever Niamh x

Dear ken my grandad
I miss you everyday no words can describe it... you were the one man that stood by me and believed in me and now you're gone...i still can’t wrap my head around it...not seeing your shop open and seeing that bright face behind the desk listening to his radio. Laurence would get his snake sweets and I would get chewing gum or a ice lolly. When I was 10 I have always planned when I’m 13 I would help you out in the shop in the summer and when I get married I would have chosen you to walk me down the aisle...you passed away in 2018 and I’m 13 now every night I look out into the stars and pray to you. In the winter and sometimes in the summer a robin would fly past and I know it’s you, everything I do is for you ken spence..I just wished I gave you a hug and tell you how much I love you..fly high and free and look down on us with pride✨ Love from Niámh xxxxx

Ken we left for Ireland last May and managed to get over to see you 3x in last year. I came by last week to say hello with the kids to say hello. Only to find out you had gone 😔 Heartbroken is not the word. Since 2007 you have watched my kids grow up and have treated us like family. I am sorry I never got to say goodbye or attend your funeral. Visiting Liverpool won't be the same anymore it's an end of an era you may be gone but not forgotten Ken R.I.P we miss you Lorissa Laurence and Niàmh xxx
