EricSPRINGHAMIt is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eric SPRINGHAM at the age of 87 after a long illness. Formerly of East Acton, latterly of Epsom, Surrey. Eric was a much loved member of the local community during the 60s, 70s and 80s as football coach at Wormholt Youth Club and trainer/manager of several associated football clubs. In the 80s and 90s he was a member of Shepherds Bush Bowls Club, he also undertook the role of secretary/treasurer during his time there. He was an avid supporter and season ticket holder at QPR for many years. In addition to his football and bowls, he worked for BT for many years until his retirement. Funeral to be held on Wednesday 10th December 2008 at Randalls Park Crematorium, Randalls Road, Leatherhead, Surrey KT22 0DP. Flowers welcome. Anyone who knew Eric is welcome to attend.
