PeterSTANDENChristopher (Pete) Peacefully at home on 24th December 2013, aged 70 years. The loving husband of Glenda, father of Lisa and Linsey and a dearly loved grandad and step-father. Will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. Funeral service on Tuesday 21st January at The Tunbridge Wells Crematorium at 11.30am. Family flowers only please. Dad , I often think about the times we shared together , my first Selhurst visit at the age of Five to watch Palace I would sit on your shoulders so I could see and then as times moved on we would sit in prem seats and sing football chants with the fans any swearing and you would turn and say keep it clean mate I’ve got my daughter with me ! Football has never had the same feeling without you beside me .
Stock car and motor bike racing was another special outing we would do together, ( Randy mamola. ,Rocket Ron was the two I can remember I’m so grateful to have had such a brilliant loving dad , you was taken from me far to early , I love you always n forever ( Lees ) xxx❤️
